OneNect

About

One app for the people you actually know, and three pillars on it.

OneNect is for family and friends: your people, your plans, your moments. Anyone can sign up for it, and nobody can put themselves in your circle. Corp, Faith and Estate are the same app for a company, a congregation and a household, each joined by invitation from the organisation that runs one, and none of the three is meant to feel like the others.

Why one app

A pillar is not a second download.

Every engagement platform starts by asking people to install something, then spends the rest of the contract persuading them to open it again. A pillar on OneNect is a section of an app a person already keeps for their own reasons, in the words the place already uses: a colleague at work, a member in a congregation, staff in a household, a friend everywhere else.

That vocabulary is documented in the platform plan and shown on the home page. It is not yet enforced by the apps, and the home page says so beside it.

The rules of the house

Four refusals,
and what holds each one.

No advertising
There is no advertising SDK in the app and it asks the phone for no advertising identifier. That is also the answer given to Google Play.
No strangers
Nothing in the service finds a person you are not already somewhere with. The one directory search belongs to organisations and returns only their own people.
No public feed
There is no global timeline to be on. A post belongs to one organisation or one circle and is read through it.
No letting yourself in
Accepting an invitation is the only thing that connects two people, and a test in the codebase goes red on the day anybody adds a second way.

How this site is written

Nothing here demonstrates a feature
the product does not have.

Every screen on this site is live markup, rendered from a seeded demonstration tenant, never a screenshot. Where a number is not seeded, none is shown. Each pillar's page carries its build status in a band that cannot be scrolled past, and the home page says plainly what is built and what is not. Corp runs today. OneNect itself, Faith and Estate are in build on the same platform, with no app in a store yet.

Who builds it

Techno Optics LLC,
trading as OneNect.
